George Stewart has named his business Heritage Decorative Decoys, which are his expression of an age-old art. An avid sportsman, George has spent a lifetime observing wildlife in its natural habitat. Heritage decoys are available as realistic, stylized, or antique reproductions of decoys which were used for hunting. The attention to detail, quality of carving and painting, and the carver’s signature contribute to the decoy’s value as a collectible.

George is a member of many Wood Carver Associations and several Guilds. He won Teacher of the Year Award for Wood Carving at the University Club in 1999.
