​​​​​​​Donna has lived in Hendersonville, NC since 1994 when she opened her own business, The Wood Shed.  She is a self –taught woodworker, decorative painter and basket maker; however her latest style of baskets was given to her from Jim Oneacre, a former member, when he retired.  Her work is ideal for the mountain lodge, lakehouse, den or cabin. Her work has appeared in several catalogs such as The J.Peterman, Orvis, Bass Pro, and Plow and Hearth.  Donna has painted more than 18 bears for the Hendersonville Downtown Public Art Program, two of which remain on Main Street, Yogi Bear in front of The Dugout and Udi, in front of Rudy’s Jewelers.  She is a charter member of the Guild.
